Dr. Steven Knell is Energy Intelligence’s President of Global Content. With over two decades of experience in energy research, analysis and advisory, Steven oversees all Energy Intelligence content areas, including Editorial, Research, Data, and Energy Intelligence’s popular annual Forum.
Steven joined Energy Intelligence from Wood Mackenzie, where he served as Vice President of its Power and Renewables consulting practice. In this role, he advised global investors and asset managers, power utilities, and oil and gas producers on buy and sell-side asset valuations, the commerciality of new energy business lines and market entry strategies.
Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Steven built his reputation as a global leader in energy and climate advisory while serving as Senior Director at IHS Markit in its flagship scenario service.
Steven is a Professor of Practice at the Centre for Energy and Climate Policy at SOAS University of London.
He took his Doctorate in International Relations at the University of Sussex, with a thesis on energy economics and climate politics, holds a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a BA Honours in Politics from the University of Kent.

Adam White is Secretary-General of the RECS Energy Certificate Association, a non-profit foundation representing energy producers, traders, and consumers who rely on energy attribute certificates to buy and sell renewable energy.
As Secretary-General, Adam works to support RECS' membership of over 125 organisations in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective renewable energy markets. RECS gives organisations and individuals the knowledge, motivation and confidence to buy 100% renewable energy.
At RECS, Adam also advocates for the development and implementation of legislation that supports and encourages renewable energy production and procurement. Adam also leads the organisation of the RECS Market Meeting, the leading global annual conference on renewable energy certificates.
Complementing his work at RECS, Adam is a member of the EnergyTag Advisory Committee advising on EAC Markets and a Board Member at the GEECA Foundation supporting and overseeing D-REC Organisation's goal of unlocking climate finance for equitable energy access through impact labelling of distributed renewable energy projects in low resource settings.
Before joining RECS Adam worked for the WWF European Policy Office as Senior Research Coordinator on Climate and Energy, and before coming to Brussels Adam worked as a researcher for elected members of the UK Parliament and the London Assembly.

Africa Clean Energy Buyers (ACEB) is founded by Enam Akoetey-Eyiah to serve as both a bridge—bringing stakeholders together—and a catalyst—harnessing collective power to drive innovation, market development, and accelerated action across Africa's energy markets.
Enam brings over two decades of pioneering work across climate and carbon-asset project development, international development, education, renewable-energy market development, and policy and regulatory innovation in Africa and globally.
She serves on the Methodological Expert Panel for the Paris Agreement's Article 6.4 mechanism and is a member of the Technical Working Group revising the Greenhouse Gas Protocol's Scope 2 guidance.
Before founding ACEB, she established reNewClimate in 2006, a pioneer carbon-asset developer that created and sold forestry credits on the voluntary market in 2007. reNewClimate continues its project development and advises corporates on climate, sustainability, and clean-energy strategies.
Enam led the development of the I-REC market in Africa and is a regular speaker at regional and international forums on Africa's energy paradox and opportunities.
She has advised and led corporates to measure, report, and account for greenhouse-gas emissions and to design credible net-zero strategies worldwide. Enam owns a forest in Ghana and supports community reforestation and afforestation by donating nursery inputs and seeds.
She holds a multidisciplinary academic background: BSc in Marketing; MSc in Development Studies; MBA in Leadership; and is an LL.M. candidate in Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Birmingham. She also holds professional qualifications in teaching, GHG accounting and reporting, and PRINCE2.
Enam chairs the governing board of a high-achieving school in London, England. She is a traditional leader—Nana Efua Adadzewa I, Safohen to the Paramount Chief of the Ekumfi Traditional Area—and a proud mother of three.
